After having studied at length the criticality and potential of Girgenti, a structure has been designed that supports panels containing indications that allow visitors arriving in the city (by car, train, bus) to have:
- a clear picture of n. 3 routes (a “short” route, a “long” route, a route dedicated to Pirandello) and the relative travel times, plus additional thematic routes (art and faith, rabato);
- a simple and intuitive guide to reach the various sites;
- essential information in graphical and didactic format on the sites and points of interest;
- easy access, via smartphone, to a database that can be implemented with historical / architectural / landscape and current information on each route, on individual sites and on scheduled events.
The project, as planned and implemented, can be easily implemented and improved in the future on the basis of specific needs that may arise.
Other institutions will be able to come together to make their own contribution, consistently with the inclusive character of the project and its finalization in favor of the City.
